Do you have stacks of manuals or timecards you want to organize? What about those thousands of pages in your customer files? Diagrams or technical specifications? Do you want to improve access to your paper archives? We can convert them for you, or work with you to determine the equipment you need to do it yourself. Converting your paper records to digital images can save you time, space and money. And once you’re set up, we won’t leave you high and dry. We’re here when you need service or technical support.

Document Scanning and Records Conversion – reduce your paper usage and storage

Convert your documents to electronic media (CD-ROM, Intranet, Internet and web-based technologies) to save space, aggravation and money. We’ll take your diagrams, word documents, timecards, customer files, photographs and wide format drawings to name a few, and turn them into an electronic format that fits your specific needs. These formats include TIFF, JPEG and PDF (text searchable documents).

Our document imaging technicians are conscientious and detailed professionals. During the imaging process extreme care is exercised to ensure the best possible image is captured. After a rigorous QA process, you’ll receive a CD-ROM containing your documents.

Documents scanned and converted to CD-ROM are easily viewed, printed and shared using any PC with a CD-ROM drive or network connection. Documents can then be located via an easy-to-use search engine right on the CD. To minimize hard disk space requirements, the index for viewing and printing of images is stored on the CD-ROM as well. One 650MB CD-ROM can store up to 13,000 letter-size images.

Digital imaging is a great option, but it’s not your only choice for document storage. Microfilm and microfiche are other options. A 100’ roll of film will store approximately 2,500 letter size images, and 215' will store approximately 5,000 letter size images. A 4 x 6-inch microfiche will store 70-letter size images. Documents converted to microfilm or microfiche can be viewed and reprinted using a microfilm reader or reader printer, located by winding through the roll of film or via an automated retrieval system.
